SINGAPORE - Textile chemicals supplier DyStar is to close its indigo dye manufacturing facility in the German city of Ludwigshafen by the end of next year.

The company says the 'restructuring' will be carried out in phases. Around 80 employees are affected and these have been offered severance packages.

"DyStar will work with local authorities and human resources to support our affected employees during this period," it said in a statement.
