DÜSSELDORF – Henkel says that its fast-curing adhesives and matrix resins are the new answer to the growing need for more lightweight assemblies in the automotive industry. Its latest range of adhesives are said to be rapidly replacing more conventional assembly methods such as screws, welding and riveting high performance continuous fibre-reinforced composites. The company is now showing these new technologies at the on-going K 2016 in Düsseldorf, Germany.
