SEOUL – The Korean Institute of Materials Science (KIMS), has developed a new conductive fabric technology which coats various textile surfaces with liquefied aluminium. By removing the need for more expensive gold and silver coatings and potentially allergenic nickel coatings, the process claims to cut production costs by up to 98 per cent.
