FLORIDA – The International Luxury Hotel Association (ILHA), based out of Florida, USA, has named Lainiere Health & Wellness, a division of textile supplier Chargeurs PCC Fashion Technologies, as its official antimicrobial fabric partner.
The tie-up means all ILHA affiliate hotels will adopt Lainiere’s Performance Silver brand of textile-based products, including masks, gloves for guests, laundry bags and chef uniforms.
The technology relies upon silver ions – renowned for their natural antimicrobial properties – which combat pathogens on contact to optimise hygiene.
