HANGZHOU - The Textile Effects division of Huntsman Corporation and the Jihua Group have signed an agreement for an enhanced strategic partnership. Under the new deal, the two companies will cooperate in a wide range of areas to jointly capitalise on the growing need for dye and chemical solutions for China’s textile sector.
Update: On October 28, 2016, the temporarily named Huntsman Spin Corporation, filed an initial Form 10 registration statement with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission for the previously announced spin-off of Huntsman's Pigments & Additives and Textile Effects businesses. Subject to market conditions, the company plans to separate these businesses from Huntsman in the first half of 2017.
