PERFORMANCE DAYS has been the first and only fair created especially for functional fabrics and accessories for sports and work clothing. The aim of the semi-annual trade fair is to give leading and innovative textile manufacturers, suppliers and service providers the opportunity to present their performance fabrics, membranes and treatments, laminates, paddings, finishes, and accessories such as yarns, tapes, prints, buttons and zippers.

At the upcoming PERFORMANCE DAYS for the KickOff Winter 2021/22 and Update Summer 2021 collections taking place on November 13-14th 2019, attendees can again expect the latest innovations and trends in the world of functional textiles showcased by almost 300 international exhibitors from around 30 countries.

In partnership with Reed Exhibitions, the Functional Fabric Fair powered by PERFORMANCE DAYS was launched in New York recently as a first of its kind event in the US to provide an opportune sourcing platform for performance materials analogous to the event in Munich. The next US Functional Fabric Fair powered by PERFORMANCE DAYS happens in Portland, OR on October 22-23rd 2019 addressing a market void for a curated sourcing fair for outdoor and activewear technical fabric and accessories.

Within the PERFORMANCE FORUM, the core of the fair, the jury’s best-of selection provides a perfect overview of the innovations and trends of tomorrow. The hand-selected fabrics are divided into the 10 most important functional fabric categories plus accessories offering the first look at current textile developments. Effective immediately, the PERFORMANCE FORUM will feature only fabrics and accessories that have proven to be sustainable anymore. In making this innovative decision, a fully sustainable pathway to the future is chosen. “We at PERFORMANCE DAYS aim to be not just trendsetters, but also to take our responsibility to the environment and our planet very seriously and want the trade fair to reflect that”, said Marco Weichert, General Manager.
Part of this area is also the (ECO) PERFORMANCE AWARD recognizing the most sustainable / innovative product. The awarded products and all other items of the PERFORMANCE FORUM are digitalized to be available for the fair’s attendees throughout the entire year within the online 24/7 SOURCING area. There is also a tool to support brands to find their perfect product / supplier with the PRODUCT / PRODUCER SEARCH providing the possibility to submit an “appointment request” or “sample request” to promote work efficiency.
