TOKYO – Teijin Frontier, the Group’s fibres and products converting arm, claims it has developed a polyester fabric that looks and feels like fine silk in response to growing demand for smooth textured materials. The Japanese firm has targeted annual sales of 150,000 metres of fabric per fiscal year by 2022.
