VALDESE – Textile manufacturer Meridian Specialty Yarn Group (MSYG) has opened a new yarn dyeing plant at its site in North Carolina; the first built in the United States for more than two decades.

Built alongside its existing site in the town of Valdese, the new 116,000 square-foot facility is said to leverage next-generation technology, machines, controls and robotics for package, top and tow dyeing. The all part of the firm’s ambition to offer North America’s most modern manufacturing operation.
