LENZING – Textile fibre producer Lenzing has brought to market its very first carbon-zero Tencel branded lyocell and modal fibres, which have been third-party verified and certified Carbon Neutral.

The product’s development is the latest step in Lenzing’s mission to meet its Science-Based Target of halving its specific carbon emissions by 2030. As it doubles down on this commitment, the Austrian outfit has outlined three pillars of action – reduce, engage, offset – through which tweaks will be made across the company’s operations in order to achieve its ambition by the end of the decade.
