GASTONIA – US textile manufacturer Champion Thread Company (CTC) has launched a range of new industrial sewing threads, each made from 100 per cent recycled materials.

The firm’s Renu line has been created to offer more ‘sustainable’ alternatives to polyester, and has been tipped for applications across fashion, personal protective equipment and home textiles.

CTC president Matt Poovey said: “The Renu line addresses growing industry and consumer demand for products made from non-virgin materials.”
