TOKYO – Researchers at the University of Tokyo have developed a functional ink which can reportedly form highly conductive and stretchable connections when printed onto garments. Comprised of silver flakes, fluorine rubber and fluorine surfactant, the ink is said to maintain its conductivity when stretched over twice its original length on textiles – a barrier which has previously been difficult to cross for e-textile manufacturers.
