MASSACHUSETTS – Researchers from Technion-Israel Institute of Technology and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology have drawn inspiration from the design of fish scales to develop a new material which, they claim, has superior anti-penetration properties while remaining flexible, with the potential for use in bulletproof clothing for the military and space suits that are impervious to micro-meteorites and radiation.
