NEW YORK – Sportswear brand Under Armour (UA) has developed spacesuits for passengers of future commercial flights to space.

In the build up to the launch of Richard Branson’s Virgin Galactic, the company’s apparel partner UA has developed a number of garments which are a twist on its Under Armour Rush collection – integrating Celliant’s mineral-based technology.

“What we've engineered utilizing our key technologies will define the future of spacewear and puts us at the forefront of this history-making event,” said Kevin Plank, founder and CEO, Under Armour.
