TORONTO – Canadian textile innovator Myant has announced the establishment of a new dedicated laboratory that it’s hoped will be a driving force for the next generation of “connected performance solutions” within apparel.

The new Connect to Conquer laboratory will be based at Myant’s headquarters in Toronto, and will bring together a new team comprising sports’ scientists, engineers and technicians; this, with the aim of harnessing its ‘Skiin’ range of smart apparel to better connect athletes with technology and performance data.

“What could be achieved if we could enable a high-fidelity representation of the physical connectedness needed to train, perform, and recover at the highest levels?” asks Myant. “This is the fundamental problem that Myant exists to conquer.”
