WASHINGTON – Two students from the University of Washington have been awarded for the development of gloves which can recognise sign language and translate it into text or speech. The ‘SignAloud’ project has received US$10,000 for winning the ‘Use It’ category in the 2016 Lemelson-MIT Program awards.
