LOS ANGELES – Celliant viscose, a functionalised material developed by Kelheim Fibres and Hologenix, is to be used in what’s expected to be the world’s first nightwear capable of converting body heat into usable energy.

German brand Mey will adopt the technology, which converts heat into full-spectrum infrared energy.

This, Hologenix says, has been found to increase cellular oxygenation, improve energy, aid muscle recovery and promote sleep.
