COLORADO – A recent ‘blind study’ at the University of Colorado has claimed that a type of thermoregulation technology – which claims to capture and release moisture vapour by creating particles embedded into fibres – can significantly improve temperature and performance levels during exercise compared to garments available from major sportswear brands. The patented ‘37.5’ technology, provided by Coloradan tech firm Cocona, is said to increase the surface area of traditional fibres by over 300 per cent, allowing for a better environment for moisture management.
