RALEIGH - Researchers at North Carolina State University say they have found a 'sweet spot' for the ideal length of threadlike energy storage in smart garments.
The study, funded by the US Military Research Council, found that yarn-shaped supercapacitors' (YSC) between 40-60 cm in length yield the highest and most efficient flow of energy.
