CAMBRIDGE – The National Fabric Innovation Centre has opened in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Acting as the headquarters for the Advanced Functional Fabrics of America (AFFOA), the opening came with the launch of new functional fabrics.

The US$10 million centre opens with space for startup textile innovation companies, workforce development and product prototyping. The head of the centre is Yoel Fink, who showcased some brand new fabric innovations when the centre opened yesterday.
