MAHARASHTRA – Indian technical textiles supplier Garware-Wall aims to expand its range of products beyond geotextiles, ropes and nets and into the production of highly profitable military fabrics as the Indian government increases its defence budget. The company aims to forge partnerships with governmental departments and develop fabric covers that protect radar and other sensitive military equipment. It recently signed a deal with Israeli company, Aero-T, to produce surveillance balloons.
