The New Voice of Textile Innovation

HONDURAS – Honduras has launched a dedicated governmental department, which aims to attract investment into the country’s textile and apparel sector. The government says the Honduras 2020 initiative will offer financial incentives to potential investors, such as no federal or municipal taxes, government subsidies and access to capital within industry institutions. Honduras is looking to grow their export market to the United States, as it is already the largest exporter of cotton shirts and the second largest exporter of sweatshirts to the country.
