TEXAS – A professor at Texas Tech University has teamed up with workwear manufacturer RPS Solutions to develop new uniforms for female employees at Oilfield Service firm, Halliburton.

Led by Su-Jeong Hwang Shin, an associate professor and director of apparel design and manufacturing at the university’s College of Human Sciences, the team of academics leant its 3D body scanning and pattern design technologies to create more functional uniforms that reduce the risk of occupational hazards.
