BANGKOK – Global chemicals company Indorama Ventures (IVL) has entered an agreement to acquire airbag fabrics supplier UTT and will use this expertise to strengthen its subsidiary PHP Fibers.
IVL has stated its intention to bring together “two pioneers in the airbag market” and will strengthen its place in this sector by taking control of UTT’s weaving sites, located in Germany and Mexico.
