NORTH CAROLINA – US apparel brand has announced the launch of its #MaskAround campaign, through which it encourages American citizens to don face coverings when out of their homes in order to mitigate the spread of COVID-19 which has ravaged the country.  

According to a survey commissioned by Hanes and conducted by Wakefield Research, only 51 per cent of Americans wear masks when outside, with 71 per cent of this group donning them when grocery shopping.

To boost these figures, the #MaskAround campaign sets out to increase awareness around the benefits of wearing them, and will see Hanes donate one million masks to those experiencing homelessness across the country.
