STOCKHOLM – Textile recycling innovator Re:newcell has confirmed plans to set up a new large-scale textile recycling plant and also announced a new collaboration with Danish fashion company Bestseller.

Re:newcell has signed a lease agreement to build the new plant, which will create 100 jobs and be capable of recycling 60,000 tons of textiles a year, in the eastern city of Sundsvall.

Meanwhile, its collaboration with the Danish company will see its 'Circulose' recycled material being used at market scale to produce garments for Bestseller brands Vero Moda, Object and Selected.
