SEOUL – South Korean textile manufacturer Hyosung has unveiled a range of new recycled, high-performance materials, as well as new ‘sustainable’ fabrics developed alongside Lenzing, at the ongoing Performance Days Digital showcase.

Working by the mantra ‘Reuse, Recycle, Regen’, Hyosung is introducing a variety of materials boasting characteristics such as UV protection, moisture-wicking and pill-resistant.

“As consumers increasingly seek out sustainability, we continue to expand our offering of eco-friendly solutions to help our customers reach their sustainability goals,” said Mike Simko, global marketing director, Hyosung-Textiles. “These goals can range from a focus on waste reduction to the elimination of using non-renewable resources, along with many others in between.”
