KOREA – The Korean Ministry of Defense is said to have 'received bribes' to enter into a contract with a private textile manufacturing company which provided sub-standard bulletproof body armour, the Board of Audit and Inspection of Korea has claimed. A recent investigation has shown the ‘liquid armour’ uniforms, some of which have allegedly been shipped to Korean soldiers, are easily punctured by military ammunition.
