PERTH – Australian innovator Nanollose has teamed up with apparel manufacturer Paradise Textiles, of the Alpine Group, to develop products which integrate the former’s Nullarbor brand of fibre.

Nanollose will supply an initial 135kg of its material, made from microbial cellulose, which will be converted into a variety of yarns destined for fashion brands with whom the Perth-based business is currently finalising agreements.

Wayne Best, Nanollose’s executive chairman, commented: “Paradise's innovation capabilities and expertise will enable us to generate innovative, sustainable, and high-quality materials in keeping with the fibre itself. The collaboration will also generate the quantity and variety of samples required by brand partners.”
