MANCHESTER – Carrington, the largest producer of workwear fabrics in the UK, will launch two new flame retardant fabrics for workers in the oil and gas industries at the upcoming Professional Clothing Show in London, which takes place next week. Both the Flametougher and Flamestat fabrics are flame retardant, which is achieved by the formation of close-linked polymer within the fibre. Both fabrics then undergo a laminating process which gives the fabric its waterproof, yet breathable quality.
Its new Flametougher 280AS and Flamestat Satin 225 Pro 2 will be showcased alongside a new range of stretch fabrics for the workwear industry.
