FRANKFURT – Registration to attend the 17th edition of Techtextil Europe and the fourth edition of Texprocess is now open, and show organisers have said the latest developments functional textiles will again be a key focal point throughout the exhibition.
The 2017 event, scheduled to run 9 – 12 May in Frankfurt, will once more include the Techtextil Symposium and Techtextil Innovation Award – both of which are said to be key contributing factors to the ever-expanding technical textile developments on display at the show.
Speaking ahead of the exhibition, Olaf Schmidt, vice president of textiles and textile technologies at Messe Frankfurt, said: “Functional textiles are already an everyday part of modern life. Finished with supplementary functions, these smart textiles are conquering a wide range of applications from automotive manufacturing to medicine.
“Techtextil and Texprocess 2017 are a must for textile manufacturers, users and processors who want to find out about the latest international developments and solutions in the field of intelligent textiles,” he added.
Messe Frankfurt also noted that each individual stage of the textile production process will be showcased at the show, with a particular focus on digital textile printing and technical textile finishing.
