FREEMONT – Digital print specialist Electronics For Imaging (EFI) has announced that it’s been acquired by an affiliate of technologies investment firm Siris Capital Group for a fee understood to be in the region of US$1.7 billion.
EFI will continue to operate under the same name but will do so as a brand of a Siris affiliate. The company’s existing common shares will be subsequently delisted from the NASDAQ exchange.
