BOSTON – A Massachusetts design studio has created a new 3D dress, which is printed in durable nylon plastic and inspired by petals, feathers and scales. The company, which has also developed innovative 3D printed mid-soles for New Balance running shoes, says while each individual interlocking component of the dress is rigid, together, they behave as one continuous textile.
