ANN ARBOR – Kraig Biocraft Laboratories has announced that the US army has fully funded the company’s ongoing research and development of new recombinant silk fibres. A new investment of US$420,000 brings total funding for the work to over US$1 million – as the company looks to create new transgenic silk fibres that exceed the current Dragon Silk product.
