SEOUL – South Korean technology firm LG Innotek has unveiled a new type of flexible pressure sensing fabric for use in the medical and automotive markets. The conductive polyurethane (PU) yarns embedded into the material have replaced the need for bulky PET films or circuit board substrates, and the resulting fabric can reportedly detect pressure across its entire surface.
