BARCELONA – ITMA, the largest international textile trade show globally, has set new standards after registering the greatest number of exhibitors it has ever seen, with 1,717 companies from 45 countries descending on Barcelona, Spain, for the seven day event.

According to Charles Beauduin, ITMA was unable to accommodate a further 250 applicants keen to flaunt the latest in textile technology, with the Fira Gran Via venue packed hall-to-hall, demonstrating the sheer demand from the broader industry for participation.

Alongside ITMA, Planet Textiles 2019 proved a hit on its 10th anniversary, with more than 400 delegates from leading brands such as H&M, Target, Gap, Nike, Gymshark, Under Armour, New Balance and Patagonia in attendance to gain insight via a raft of high-level seminars.
