BARCELONA - Taiwan’s textile industry is attracting more and more international attention with global brands such as Nike, Adidas and Uniqlo increasingly sourcing functional fabrics from the country's specialist manufacturers.
Helping to underpin this growth are the country's suppliers of 'smart' textile machinery with the latest figures from the Taiwan Association of Machinery Industry (TAMI) showing that the export value of Taiwanese textile machinery from 2018 was US$1.02 billion, an increase of nearly one per cent when compared to 2017.
With this in mind, TAITRA (Taiwan External Trade Development Council), took advantage of the recent ITMA exhibition to showcase seven of their members' latest intelligent and smart textile machinery solutions
