LOS ANGELES — Garment label manufacturer Avery Dennison has teamed up with Singapore-based Browzwear, a pioneer of 3D digital solutions, to help reduce waste in the global fashion industry.

The company says the cross-industry collaboration will make new fashion design tools available which will reduce material waste, carbon emissions during transportation, and time spent waiting for samples.

It involves an upgrade for Browzwear's 3D design software suite - available from July - which the partners say will enable apparel designers to preview branding and material choices at the onset of the design process for the first time.
