GOTHENBURG – Swedish retailer Lindex has adopted a product lifecycle management (PLM) solution to establish greater supply chain connectivity and centralise production information relating to design, planning, buying and manufacturing.

The company partnered with retail technology solutions provider Aptos to leverage its solution, which it believes could help reduce the environmental impact of its garments by offering real-time insights into production practices which it can adjust going forward.

Elisabeth Hedberg, director of design, purchase and production at Lindex, said: "We were impressed with the fashion know-how of the Aptos team as well as the system’s ability to facilitate improved collaboration across our end-to-end product development processes.”
