ANDBACH – Sportswear giant Adidas has announced plans for the mass production of footwear at its fully automated manufacturing facility in Germany. The ‘Speed Factory’, which began as a research project in October 2013, is the first in a series of advanced robotics production sites which only use machines to manufacture Adidas shoes.
