MUMBAI – India is expected to produce around three million less cotton bales for the season, compared to a year ago, according to the Mumbai-based Cotton Association of India. The organisation recently announced its latest cotton production numbers for this season (October 2015 – September 2016), which shows India will produce 35.3 million bales (170kgs each) this year.
