MUNICH – At ISPO 2020, which kickstarts this Sunday, Japanese material company IST Corporation will debut its new ultralight, temperature resistant Imidetex fibre.
Working by the mantra of ‘Inventing technologies no-one can copy’, IST says it can now bring to market its high-performance fibre that boasts strength comparable to Kevlar, used commonly in personal protective equipment such as bulletproof vests.
The firm has set its sights on the sportswear market, insisting its latest material innovation has the characteristics that are quintessential to apparel in this market.
