TOKYO – Teijin Frontier, the group’s fibres and products converting company, has developed a new heat insulating knitted fabric structure that integrates the firm’s highly modified hollow-core Octa fibre.  

Said to provide both sweat absorption and quick drying properties for warmer climates and an insulating functionality for “brushed-finish intermediate wear, or middler, [worn between the inner and outer] layers”, the fabric composition has been tipped for applications in sportswear, casualwear and uniforms.
