HULL - Safety clothing and footwear supplier ARCO has committed further funding to Teesside-based recycling start-up Stuff4Life to scale its patent-pending chemical recycling process for polyester.
ARCO and Stuff4Life have set up a new joint venture company - Stuff4Life Workwear - which aims to create a circular supply chain for polyester, as well as support ARCO's net-zero emission targets.
It builds on an existing relationship with Teesside University and its Net Zero Industry Innovation Centre, as well as the Centre for Process Innovation at Wilton, near Middlesbrough, part of the UK Government’s High Value Manufacturing Catapult.
