JYVÄSKYLÄ – Finland based fibre manufacturer, Spinnova, has received €1.9 million ($2.1m) in new funds from Business Finland as it looks to further expand its production of cellulosic fibre made from recycled textiles and agricultural waste streams.
The grant, which represents half of the Finnish company's research and development (R&D) budget until April 2025, will be used towards refining the manufacturing side of its multi-patented man-made cellulosic fibre.
