TOKYO –  Teijin Group has developed a new bulky version of its lightweight Solotex polytrimethylene terephthalate (PTT) textile fibre, which it says provides much greater shape retention, high bulk and improved functionality for sportswear, interior textiles and a range of other functional textile end-uses.

The company claims it offer twice as much bulk as other PTT fibres, six times better cushioning or impact resistance and six times more shape retention compared to previous versions of its Solotex.
