SAARWELLINGEN - Nano-Care Deutschland AG, a producer of ready-to-use chemical coatings and precursors, has released the latest addition to its ‘Intelligent Hybrids’ range of finishes and durable water repellents (DWRs) for outdoor apparel, military gear and industrial clothing. The new offering is said to use an optimised blend ofshort-chain fluorination (C4 or C6) as a replacement for long-chain fluorocarbon (C8) technologies. Furthermore, the new coating, which has achieved ISO certification for oil repellency and hydrocarbon resistance, is suitable for use with a range of materials including: polyamide, polyester, cotton, viscose (not standardised) and wool.
