MANCHESTER – A collaboration between Manchester University and biochemists in the city has brought forward a new anti-bacterial snood, said to integrate ‘germ trap’ technology which protects against 96 per cent of airborne viruses.

The teams say the accessory has been in development for a decade and they’re now working around the clock to bring it to full scale production in light of the coronavirus outbreak.
