NEW YORK – Software solutions provider Gerber Technology has partnered with American apparel manufacturer FPS Apparel to help the firm transition to producing personal protective equipment.
Seamlessly integrating Gerber’s assortment of sophisticated textile technologies into FPS’ micro-factory concept, it’s thought the firm will soon manufacture and donate upwards of 10,000 face masks per week.
“It’s a priority for all of us at Gerber to ensure our customers have everything they need to successfully transition to PPE,” said Pete Doscas, vice president & general manager, Americas Sales & Service Delivery of Gerber Technology.
