NEW YORK – Online transparency tool The Open Apparel Registry (OAR) has launched a new feature on its platform that enables users to find facilities manufacturing personal protective equipment (PPE).

Increasingly, manufacturers have turned to producing items such as facemasks amidst the pandemic, as to supplement growing demand both from healthcare workers and consumers.

Using OAR’s open-source garment facility mapping system, users can now identify those producing PPE, whether big or small firms, as to establish greater transparency whilst the pandemic remains at large globally.
