PAISLEY – A PhD student at the University of the West of Scotland (UWS) is to work with circular fashion supplier Advanced Clothing Solutions (ACS) to digitise its operational systems.
Notably, the two organisations have partnered before, collaborating to develop a patented sanitisation chamber for apparel that could reportedly decontaminate clothing and accessories.
Now, PhD student Dr Mohamed Mustafa is to join the ACS team with the view to digitising its operations – which have historically been in clothing rental – to help it accommodate the new technology and better service its clients.
